CountryHops was founded in order to help travelers find the best places to stay during their travels and put the best Bed and Breakfast accommodations on the map.

We believe in effectively approaching users on social networking/ travel sites to engage them with accommodations accross the world.

Divya Raghavan has spent most of her career in marketing and building strategy for consumer facing internet products. Divya brings with her, rich experience in market/ consumer research, product strategy and management.

Prior to CountryHops, Divya has worked with Yahoo! Inc. on travel.yahoo.com, shopping.yahoo.com and hotjobs.yahoo.com. She also worked on corporate strategy and product management team for Reliance Capital.

Divya is more of the budget/ adventure traveler. She has spent a lot of time traveling and has even scaled the smaller peaks of the Himalayas. She loves to stay like a locals wherever she goes and never misses the local cuisine.

"I want to see every nook and corner of this world before I die" is her mission.

Kapil Karekar has spent many years in the Computer and Internet Industry. Kapil has extensive experience in Product Management and Development, having launched and managed many consumer facing internet products.

Prior to CountryHops, Kapil has worked with Yahoo! Inc. on their communities team launching internet products for the global audience. He has also headed Development and Product Engineering for Reliance Capital, India launching successful products during his tenure.

Kapil loves to travel to scenic places and have a peaceful vacation. He has traveled a lot in the last few years and loves to try new places to stay. He loves to share these experiences with everybody and encourages travel as a healthy obsession.
